President Lynn C. Thompson has spent a lifetime collecting wooden walking sticks and weapons, and has amassed a fine collection of these beautiful handcrafted sticks. He always had a particular fondness for the Kerrie Knob, a spherical-headed walking stick that originated in Africa. COLD STEEL's interpretation of this African cane incorporates some of the finest features of the traditional Zulu Kerrie - the wavy handle and distinctive geodesic ball - but instead of using expensive exotic hardwoods, they've made this cane from high-impact polypropylene. This means that as well as being incredibly durable, it won't rot, warp, crack, split, swell, shrink, mould or discolour. While its primary function is as a walking stick to improve balance when traversing uneven, slippery or rough terrain, it also makes a great self-defence option in an emergency.
