Why buy biodegradable Airsoft BBs?
Airsoft is a sport that's often played in the great outdoors. In addition to your opponents, the terrain offers you an extra challenge to contend with. In this context, it's inevitable that ball debris ends up in nature. That's why, at Wicked Store, we offer our customers biodegradable balls made from corn starch, barley chips and resin. These eco-friendly materials prevent the scattering of plastics in the environment and are easily dissolved in a natural environment.
What weight of Airsoft balls should I choose?
Airsoft BBs come in different weights; the best way to choose the right weight is to refer to your Airsoft replica manual, to get the right balls for your weapon. There are 4 main weights:
0.12 g: the lightest Airsoft balls, designed for Spring-type pistols. These are the least accurate, as their light weight makes them susceptible to the vagaries of the wind;
0.20 g: the most widely used Airsoft balls. They offer a good balance between speed, precision and punch;
0.23 and 0.25 g: the heaviest balls, therefore the slowest but also the most accurate. They offer a consistent punch and are suitable for upgraded AEGs.
