The latest line of X-Shield helmets is aimed at all airsofters looking for quality equipment that will perform well on the airsoft battlefield without weighing heavily on the wallet. The quality/price ratio of X-Shield helmets is a factor that sets them apart from the rest.
The helmet shell is made from durable plastic, making the construction both durable and lightweight. An undeniable advantage of the helmet is the great adjustability and fit to the user's head. This is facilitated by a set of modular hard plastic and soft foam cushions, which can be positioned freely inside the helmet using Velcro fasteners. A wide range of adjustments is also provided 4-point facepiece with soft chin strap, secured with a fastex buckle. Another advantage of the face piece is that it has been manufactured in a closed system, meaning there are no loose, protruding adjustment straps.
The circumference is adjusted using a handy knob on the back of the helmet. Face adjustment size 55-61cm.
Like many other helmets based on the Fast construction, the X-Shield is equipped with a set of side mounting rails for attaching a range of additional equipment such as goggles, tactical lighting, headsets, etc. On the front of the helmet, a plastic bracket and tie-down cables allow NVG systems to be installed. A full set of modular brackets and clips are included.
The flair factor is certainly helped by flexible Velcro panels located on the helmet, allowing the attachment of moral patches, badges, e-lite labels, etc.The BJ-style helmet shell is drilled with additional holes improving ventilation and slightly reducing weight.
