When CZ set out to design its next-generation pistol, it collaborated with legendary designer Frantisek Koucky to develop a new type of pistol that stood out from its competitors at the time in many ways, making it a global phenomenon. The CZ 75 had an ergonomic grip with textured sides, making it easy to hold and use. Its breech was housed inside the frame, rather than covering it like other pistols of the time. This made the CZ 75 incredibly robust and easy to cock.
