The MXR18 comes with a MOSFET unit, which improves trigger response and makes battery use more optimal. The result is a rifle that lasts longer.
The most remarkable thing about the MXR18 Assault is the keymod handguard. Very similar to the "wire cutter" design, the handguard features more accessory rails at 12 and 6 o'clock than you might imagine.
With Keymod sections at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions, you have unlimited access to accessories and tactical parts. The monolithic section merges seamlessly with the upper receiver, giving the player even more space to add accessories and adds a more stable platform.
The MXR18 Assault comes with a Crane 'SOPMOD' style stock. The stock has a textured section for better non-slip cheek support. The compartment at the rear of the stock is easily accessible and can store a variety of battery sizes to suit most players' choice of batteries. The grip is adjustable and easy to use.
The ergonomic pistol grip is designed for comfort during prolonged use. The textured grip allows players to control the MXR18 during wet operations and prolonged shooting exchanges.
The MXR18 comes with folding polymer front and rear sights featuring fiber optics for quick and easy target acquisition during low-light operations and daylight hours. Easy to deploy, the folding sights act as backup sights if the red dot or players' scope fails during the heat of the action. Sights are adjustable.
The rail-mounted handguard features picatinny rails at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions, offering the player unlimited possibilities for attaching tactical accessories such as lights, lasers, grenade launchers and more.
Included with the rifle is a 300-round polymer hicap magazine. Polymer construction keeps the magazine light, allowing the player to carry more magazines onto the battlefield without unwanted weight.
