Pepper spray

Plegium uses a new, patented, sustainable, laboratory-based process to produce a pepper spray liquid that is superior to other brands. Depending on the model, the spray will last 10-15 seconds of continuous spraying.

All Plegium pepper sprays have a highly concentrated red dye and UV dye added to mark the attacker. 

Free text messages and phone calls

In case you need to get out your pepper spray, you'll probably want to get help fast. That's why Plegium decided to make their pepper sprays "connected" to call for help remotely. 

When you activate your spray, your emergency contacts will receive a phone call and an SMS with your GPS location so they can call the police and come to your aid.

Your pepper spray and phone will automatically pair via Bluetooth through the Plegium app. The Plegium app is free and supports all SMS and phone calls.

The next generation siren

In addition to blinding the attacker with pepper spray, it is important to draw attention to yourself, to further increase the chances that the attacker will stop his attack. This is why this product has a built-in siren (not included on the Mini model).

The siren is more powerful than any other stand-alone personal alarm on the market.

The siren sound has been tuned to resonate at frequencies where human hearing is most sensitive.

Strobe LED

Attacks often occur when it is dark outside. To make it easier for you to aim at an attacker's eyes, many of Plegium's pepper sprays are equipped with a very bright LED light (except for the Mini model). 

When you use the pepper spray, the light turns on. This allows you to see the spray pattern clearly and helps you to adjust your aim more quickly.

The LED light on Plegium pepper sprays has another advantage, it flashes (19 times per second to be precise), which has a proven disorienting effect on the attacker.

Magnetic quick-release key ring

Plegium has developed a unique magnetic quick-release key ring, which allows the spray to be detached with one hand.

Hang your Plegium pepper spray on your key ring or in a compartment inside your handbag, so you know where you have it. If you need to use it, simply remove it - the key ring splits, so you can quickly remove the spray and use it.
